Objective

To promote healthy relationships and strong, effective communication using diverse media to ensure the success and growth of a visionary company

To Whom it May Concern:

I’m a chameleon. I teach. I write. I speak several languages. I speak at conferences. I am an excellent mother, I teach college-bound seniors to write, team-teach at-risk students respect, have worked with physically/emotionally/mentally handicap students, and am able to tweak instruction to most effectively benefit the group as whole.

I can multi-task/create/map/document/etc. information that is difficult to translate verbally. I can write succinctly and technically as well as creatively and with strong voice. I like to explore online tools, applications, and software in order to maintain favorable organization and effective communication skills. "I'm a Mac," but my teaching positions have provided ample opportunity to work as long-term, full-time "PC."

In addition to teaching full time as a high-school English teacher and Reading Specialist in Southern NH, I also write creatively, professionally, and technically. I have presented original and innovative ideas in NYC and Philadelphia at various leadership conferences. My research in education and technology integration has helped transition students and faculty into the digital era.

My first choice would be a full-time position that relies on my strengths, challenges my knowledge with professional development, and understands my priorities. Preferably, this position would provide my family benefits in addition to a competitive salary.

I am also looking to pursue either a position in education, or one in which I can write professionally. Ideally, I would love to balance both. As an educator, my summers offer the perfect scope for my writing passion. I am also open to writing full-time should the wonderful opportunity present itself.

I can provide your company (or educational setting) with organization, flexibility, the ability to absorb languages, trends, and technological literacy, as well as maintain personable and professional relationships that will help to build the overall success and growth of your company. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Amanda Klimowicz
